After owning multiple dolls, Sean shares his favorite tip for keeping ZELEX dolls spotless and ready: Use the standing legs feature + detachable showerhead (stream setting) to blast water directly into openings for deep cleaning. Gravity drains water naturally while standing, followed by finger-wrapped cloth for final absorption and alcohol wipe-down. Simple, effective, and superior to syringes — hack for quick, residue-free maintenance!

“My tip, from having owned different dolls, is the method I have found works best at keeping the doll clean and 'ready to use' again.”

For this, the standing legs feature of a ZELEX doll helps with washing out after use. Key to this is a detachable shower head, which allows me to spray water directly into the opening. Using a showerhead with different settings allows for a 'stream' setting, too, which really cleans it out.

This makes for a more thorough cleaning than any of those syringe things, which I found never fully cleaned it like the showerhead does.

Position for Stability

Stand doll with legs partly open, and with the butt resting against the wall for stability.

Wash & Drain

After a good washing with the showerhead, this is also ideal for drying because, by standing, the water all comes out.

Final Dry & Disinfect

Later, use a dry cloth wrapped around a couple fingers to absorb any remaining moisture up in there. Finish by wiping the inside and out with alcohol.
