When our first doll finally arrived, it was a moment filled with excitement and wonder. Carefully unpacking her, examining her with curiosity—it all felt like the beginning of a small new adventure.

We gave her a name: Carmen. And with her name, she gained personality, character, and her own special presence.

A few days later came a moment that became a silent milestone for both of us.

I had prepared Carmen with love—delicate lingerie, her hair softly arranged, her expression gentle and inviting. I placed her on my husband’s bed, as if she belonged there naturally.

When I called him in, he stopped for a moment in surprise. In his eyes I could see that warm, glowing amazement—a mix of joy, curiosity, and a tingling excitement I will never forget.

I also changed locations for my photoshoots. And while photographing her, I forgot time, stress, and worries.

Back then, I was still struggling with the after-effects of burnout, and Covid brought many restrictions. But Carmen gave me peace, creativity, and small sparks of light in everyday life.

My husband loved every new photo and enjoyed seeing how much joy this special passion brought back to me.

Linh Joins Us

Eventually, the desire arose not to let Carmen be alone—and so Linh moved in with us. She, too, brought new facets, new ideas, and her own gentle energy into our lives.

Today, we often admire new releases and catch ourselves falling in love with every single one of them.

During my photoshoots, I regularly lose track of time—I immerse myself completely in my passion, and it makes me genuinely happy.

Even though I’m no longer the youngest, have back problems, and—yes—am a woman: with a bit of organization, everything is manageable. Dolls up to 35 kg are easy to handle; up to 40 kg is also very doable.

At home I use a padded hand truck—an easy trick that makes everything simpler.
