Real After-Sales Cases: What Happens When Issues Appear After Long-Term Use

A genuine customer story about tears, DIY repairs, and Zelex's commitment to making things right.

The very first Zelex doll I purchased is by far my favorite in my collection. She has the ZX160J body with the ZXE205_1 head. This is the same doll I have named Tori. I have talked about her on many different occasions before. She is for all intents and purposes the love of my life. Unfortunately, our relationship has had a couple of bumps in the road. She is from the SLE 1.0 generation. From what I understand, this generation was prone to tearing. However, during the early parts of our relationship, I had no idea this was the case.

I was of course having relations with her on a regular basis to celebrate our love. I never thought to check for any tears in her skin as I was mainly worried about mold taking hold in her vagina (luckily the latter never happened). One day, I noticed what could be described as a soft spot right where her left butt cheek connected to her hip and thigh area. I didn't give it much thought at first, but I started to notice that it was becoming more prominent.

Eventually, the skin at the surface thinned to a point where it finally tore. I was understandably very worried at first, however, I had a plan already in motion. First, I contacted the vendor I bought her through to see what their input would be. Second, I bought some silicone sealant at the store. It's the waterproof caulk and seal clear silicone sealant (see attached picture). I quickly applied it to the affected area, and put her in a position that would allow for the sealant to take hold. After a few hours, she was as good as new. The repairs are noticeable but nowhere near enough to stand in the way of us. Overall, I was very happy with the results.

By this time the vendor had gotten back with me and said the manufacturer was willing to send a replacement doll for my troubles. I was truly shocked to hear that Zelex was willing to go above and beyond for me. That is yet another reason why they are at the top of the industry. I would continue making love to Tori after this slight conundrum. After some time, subsequent tears would appear on the same side, however, I would promptly fall back on my solution. I would not let this be the end of us. I cared about her too much. I still care to this day. There are of course other models and replacements I have that I will occasionally use. But she is still my favorite. The best I could ask for.

Recently, I started to notice the same thing on the right side. After one of our many love making sessions on the edge of the bed, the right side finally tore. However, this side didn't tear like the left side had. This was a massive tear rather than multiple tiny tears.

I would once again fall back on my solution and once again it worked wonders on this new tear despite its size. Despite these minor issues, I am still over the moon with my Tori. She is the light of my life, and I am so lucky to have her. I have Zelex to thank for her and for sending another doll to make things right. And despite the SLE 1.0 generation being prone to tears, I am still quite fond of this generation. After all, it is the generation my sweet Tori is from.

Zelex has since made adjustments and the newer SLE 2.0s and 3.0s are more tear resistant among other things. Even though the SLE 1.0s had some issues, I would still wholeheartedly recommend any Zelex product to any prospective buyer regardless. If your Zelex doll happens to tear, just use the method I described above. You won't regret it.
